Description

This Spanish wildflowers art was inspired by a holiday to the Mardavall resort in Mallorca, as Michael sat in the garden of the apartment complex.

The curve of the glass table acts as a focal point of the composition; holding the interest of the flowers. While the reflection of the nearby tree on the top corner of the table and fallen flower draw the eye. The red flower provides a nice contrast to the green and yellow surroundings, with the background giving a warm continental feel.

Michael’s other still life works are Italian Wildflowers and Violets in a Crystal Glass. While the wider European collection also includes Summer Shade – Costa d’en Blanes, Mallorca, Echoes of Greece, Place du Tertre and Houseboats on the Seine.
