Description

This wildlife work depicts an Amur leopard in the snow as it looks for potential predators and prey in the distance.

The composition shows the big cat in its natural habitat, with the white of the snow contrasting the spotted fur and surrounding rocks.

The Amur leopard is native to South Eastern Russia and Northern China. It can be differentiated from other leopards by its thick pale-cream coloured fur, especially in the winter, and its main predator is the tiger.
