Description

Michael didn’t have far to walk to find this little gem – just a 20 minute walk from his home on a small country road situated at the top of Spango Valley in Greenock.

He decided on a composition that had a high eye level, with the hedge on the left leading the eye towards the farmhouse. The dark colour of the barn provided a strong contrast to the harmony of the cadmium yellow sky and elongated blue shadows on the snow. With the sunlight filtering through the trees and rough grass on a crisp winter evening.
